A Beary Merry Christmas by DC Juris

I completely forgot I have an f/f pairing now! Here's a little snippet story featuring Jenny and Anne from "Tenacious Bea and the Bite of Destiny". This takes place on their one year anniversary, so a year after "Tenacious Bea." Enjoy! (I only had time to edit once, so don't mind the typos!)

Jenny maneuvered the Jeep through the muddy snow, dodging fallen branches and all manner of debris, intent on reaching just the right spot. She glanced at the dashboard clock and then out the window at the slowly setting sun with a grin. She had timed this just right! She pulled the Jeep over to the side of the road and parked, then pointed down to the half-frozen creek below. "Watch the creek for a minute, and you'll get a surprise. No one really knows why, but he comes out for a few hours every year on Christmas Day, just about this time."

Anne frowned. "What does?" She rolled down the window and craned her neck out. "I don't see any…Oh! Oh, my god! Bear! Bear! There's a bear!"

Jenny lurched over and grabbed hold of the waistband of Anne's jeans. "Stay in the Jeep!"

"I'm gonna." Anne nodded, although half of her was already hanging out the window. Pressing the camera's zoom, she ticked off photo after photo of the large, fuzzy black bear browsing along the creek bank. "Oh my god! Look at him! Look at him, Jen! Do you see him?"

"Uh-huh. I see him." Jenny smiled at Anne's cute little ass as she wiggled back and forth in glee.

"It's a bear!"

Anne's awe-filled tone raised gooseflesh all along Jenny's arms, and she sighed. "Yup."

After several more minutes--and probably a hundred or so more pictures--Anne pulled herself back into the Jeep and sat back, breathless. "A freakin bear!" She turned to Jenny, her eyes shining with excitement. "This was an awesome present!"

Jenny chuckled. As a dual anniversary/Christmas gift that morning, she had presented Anne with a brand new Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera--purchased at a whopping sixteen hundred dollars, and every one of them worth it.

"Okay, I'm ready." Anne peered out the window though, keeping an obvious eye on her new furry friend.

"A friend of mine owns a cabin up here," Jenny revealed. "Nothing too redneck, of course. Has a nice fireplace and a kitchen. Any interest in eating our lunch there?"

"Sounds great!" Anne glanced back at the cooler in the back seat. "I've never been to a cabin before."

"I know, that's why I planned it." And she had planned well: cheese, wine, furry blankets...and a brand-spanking new, red and white striped, candy-cane shaped glass dildo. Jenny snickered. Yes, indeed, she had more in store for her lover than simple food for lunch! Jenny leaned over and placed a sweet kiss on Anne's cheek. "Merry Christmas, baby."

Anne turned her head just in time to brush her lips against Jenny's. "And Happy Anniversary, too."
